Welcome to the vibrant capital of Indonesia! Upon your arrival in Jakarta, we will transfer you to your hotel to settle in. This evening, you will get your first taste of this bustling metropolis with a visit to a lively local night market, experiencing the incredible energy and sampling some of the city's most delicious and authentic street food dishes.
This morning, we will leave the city's hustle far behind as we travel to the marina for our scenic boat journey to Pulau Seribu. Feel the stress melt away as we cruise over turquoise waters to our beautiful island resort. After checking in, the rest of the day is yours to relax on the white-sand beach and embrace peaceful, serene island life.
Today is dedicated to exploring the underwater wonders of the Thousand Islands. We will take a local boat to some of the area's best snorkeling spots, where you can swim among vibrant coral reefs and schools of colorful tropical fish. Enjoy a delicious lunch on a secluded beach and spend the afternoon swimming in the clear, warm waters or simply relaxing.
Enjoy one last delicious breakfast with a beautiful ocean view and take a final swim in the calm morning sea. After soaking up the last moments of island tranquility, we will board the boat for our return journey back to Jakarta. From the marina, we will transfer you directly to the airport in time for your departure, feeling completely refreshed.
After breakfast, free to explore the surroundings. Later drive to Mandawa, ideal location to revisit Rajasthan's rich heritage and culture. On arrival, check in into castle hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the surroundings of Mandawa Castle. A treasure trove of priceless artifacts & paintings. Overnight at hotel
After breakfast leave for Bikaner - the foundation city of the famous Camel Corps. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon, visit the old Junagadh fort built by Raja Rai Singh the 6th ruler of the state of Bikaner in 1589 AD. See the architectural marvel, intricate carvings on red stone, some of the finest collection of armory, gold & lacquer workman- ship on glass, before continuing your tour to Bhand Sagar Temple – the 16th century Jain temple, is the most important of this temple complex, followed by a visit to the Camel Breeding Farm – a unique experience where you can ride on a camel & have perhaps the first taste of camel’s milk. Next visit the Ganga Golden Jubilee museum,where you get to view an impressive and a large collection of sculptures dating back from the Gupta (4th century AD) & the Kushan (1st century AD) period, before returning to hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight in hotel.
After breakfast, visit Deshnok Temple. The 600-year-old temple is dedicated to Karni Mata, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple has huge intricately carved silver gates donated by Maharaja Ganga Singh. The temple plays host to thousands of rats that form the major attraction here. The rats are considered sacred and worshiped accordingly. You have to be very careful while entering the inner sanctum, because it is believed that if you accidentally step on a rat, a gold replica has to be made to compensate for the lost life. This is also known as the rat temple.
Afternoon depart by surface for Jaisalmer En-route visiting Gajner Palace or the Shikar Mahal (Hunting Lodge of Maharaja of Bikaner) by the side of a lake which houses a considerable collection of antique furniture’s, wall hangings, paintings and carpets, besides a beautiful rose garden. Today it is a wild life sanctuary where you can sight the Black buck, Chinkara & the Neelgai. Later on arrival in check into hotel for overnight
After breakfast, proceed for guided city tour. Visit the Patwon-Ki & Salim Singh Haveli, which is about 300 years old and housed the Prime Minister of Jaisalmer State. Also visit Gadisar Lake, which once provided the entire water supply of the city. Next stop takes us to the 800 year Fort built of golden yellow sandstone by Prince Jaisal on the Trikuta Hill. Within its walls defended by 99 turrets lies the old city, which is nearly a quarter of modern day Jaisalmer. Walk thru the narrow yet fascinating by lanes before returning to hotel.
Afternoon visit the ancient city of Lodurva, once the capital of the Bhatti rulers, now deserted. See the house of Queen Moomal, the Kalpa Vriksa (tree of life) Toran Dawar, ancient temples & water tanks, before continuing to Sam Sand Dunes to enjoy sunset over the great Thar Desert. Camel rides on the dunes. Later return to your hotel for overnight.
After breakfast leave for Khimsar, en-route visiting desert hamlets and remnants of the 16 Jain & Brahmanical Hindu Temples, built between the 8th & 11th century AD in Osian, the commercial city of yore. The Jain temple of the last Thirthankar Mahavira is visit worthy. Later on arrival in Khimsar, check into hotel. Evening enjoy folklore dances. Overnight in hotel.
After breakfast leave for Rohet Village en-route Sightseeing of Mahrangarh Fort- Museum with panoramic view of Jodhpur City, Jaswant Thada (Royal Cenotaphs) Umaid Bhawan Palace- Museum and continue drive to Rohet Village (50 km). On arrival check into hotel. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast free for individual activities. Afternoon proceed for a Jeep Safari Tour of Bisnoi's Desert Villages witness a Opium making Ceremony in Paliwal Village, before returning to your hotel for overnight.
After breakfast, depart by surface for Mount Abu - the beautiful hill health resort spread over a few Kms of strangely shaped hills and green forests, situated at a height of 1219 m in the Aravalli hills. Its temples with medieval Indian sculptures and once the summer resort of Maharajas, makes it one of the most popular hill stations in India. On arrival, check into Kesar Bhawan Palace hotel.
Afternoon, proceed for half day excursion to the Famous Jain Temples at Dilwara - located on a hill shaded by mango trees. The complex comprises of 5 temples of Jain Thirthankar - Adinath, Neminath, Mahavir, and Hrishavdeva & Parshwanath. The oldest being that of Adinath, built around 10th century AD. The other temples were consequently added with the passage of time. Return to hotel. Evening free - Take a walk around the Nikki lake - an artificial lake in the heart of this small town, where you can indulge in a boat ride or Stroll down to the Sunset point where the valley has abruptly ended, to watch the sunset. Or browse thru the local bazaars, with their small curio shops. Return to hotel for overnight.
After breakfast, depart for Ranakpur. Located on the western slope of the Aravalli hills are remains of Jain temples built around 12th century AD on similar patterns like Dilwara. Visit Ranakpur group of Jain temples built between 12 & 15th century AD. The temple complex surrounded by a 200 ft high wall inside which stands 29 white marble temples, the 29th that of Adinath is specially view worthy. The temple has 80 domes balanced on 1444 ornamented pillars, each of them with an unique sculpture. After sightseeing, continue for Bambora, located at the crossroads of many interesting destinations of Rajasthan, it is a quaint little township. En-route, visit the 10th century Jagat Temples also known as the Khajuraho Temples of Rajasthan. The sculpture work is magnificent. Later on arrival check into hotel for overnight.
Morning after breakfast, depart by car for Udaipur. En-route visiting the historically famous Chittorgarh Fort - the ancient capital of the Shishodia Rajput well known for their valor & chivalry. Built in 7th C AD by Chitrangada, a Maori Rajput, it was attacked thrice & remained Chittor's capital till 1568 AD. Visit Queen Padmani's Mahal surrounded by water, the Sat Bis Deuri (Jain ornamented temple adorned with Hindu God's & Goddesses) the Tower of fame & the Victory tower erected by one of the greatest Rajput warrior kings, Maharana Rana Kumbh in the year 1440 to commemorate his victory over Sultan Khilji of Malwa. Also see the 8th century Chitoreswari, Khumbshamji & Krishna temple, Rana Khumba's palace & Babur's (First Mughal Emperor of India) cannon before continuing your drive to Udaipur. Later on arrival check into hotel for overnight.
After breakfast proceed for a full day excursion to Haldighati, 40 Km from Udaipur a site of immense historic interests as the memorable battle between Maharana Pratap & Mughal emperor Akbar was fought here in 1576 AD. The Rana was badly wounded and defeated while his faithful horse Chetek died while crossing the moat. A memorial pillar has been set up here to honor the Royal horse. Next visit the ancient temples of Eklinji, built in 734 AD a complex of 108 temples enclosed by high walls devoted to Eklinji - the Deity of the Maharanas of Mewar, followed by a visit to Nagda, the first capital of Bappa Rawal. See the magnificent Tirana exquisitely carved with graceful Asparas and the Sas- Bahu Temple sphere built in 10th century AD. The last visit on today’s itinerary is the temple shrine of Nathdwara built in 17th century AD dedicated to Lord Krishna. It is one of the most celebrated of the Vaishnava shrines. Return to hotel. Overnight in hotel.
After breakfast proceed for half day city sightseeing tour visiting the City Palace, Here you will marvel at rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies and the Peacock Courtyard. Visit the 300-year-old Jagdish Temple and the Royal Cenotaphs of the Rajput kings followed by Sahelion- ki-bagh, Fathesagar Lake, Pratap Samarak & the Sajjan Niwas Gardens before returning to hotel. Afternoon visit Sajjangarh, also called Monsoon Palace, a fortified palace atop a steep hill, overlooking the city of Udaipur, providing magnificent views of the lakes and palaces of Udaipur. Evening enjoy a boat ride on lake Pichola visiting Gangaur Ghat, small islands inhabited by migratory birds, and the Jag Mandir Palace, where Shah Jahan stayed for a while during his exile. Enjoy sunset before returning back to hotel for overnight
After leisurely breakfast leave for Dungarpur. On arrival, check into hotel. The banquet Hall here, with its jaunting trophies and crystal chandeliers takes on a back to the days of past. Afternoon proceed for city sightseeing tour, visiting the Juna Fort Palace (Old Palace) and exploring a typical Village life-style of the ancient times, that till today is in existence. Overnight
After breakfast leave for Deogarh. On arrival, check into hotel. Afternoon Tea/Coffee with the Royal Family of Deogarh (subject to their availability) balance time explore a Typical living Rajasthani rural village. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
After breakfast leave for Pachewar Village en-route Sightseeing of Dargah (Indian's Mecca) in Ajmer and Lord Brahma Temple at Pushkar Lake & continue drive to Pachewar Village. On arrival, check into hotel. Afternoon proceed for a walking tour Tour of this Village with its Lake. Overnight in hotel.
After breakfast depart by surface for Kanota On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon free to explore the palace premises and discover a fascinating history tucked away. Overnight.
Morning after breakfast, depart by surface for the Mughal splendor of Agra, en-route visiting Fathepur Sikri the ghost city 35 Km from Agra. Fathepur Sikri built in red sandstone in honor of Saint Salim Chisti, who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Each important edifice here represents a type by itself. Notable among them is the Diwane Khas, Punch Mahal, the Tomb of Salim Chisti, and the Buland Darwaza. Drive on to Agra and check-in to hotel.
Late afternoon visit the incomparable Taj Mahal. This monument a fine example of fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world. Built in 1652 by Emperor Shah Jahan. It took 22 years and 20,000 skilled artisans to complete this poem in white marble. Spend time at the Taj, before returning to your hotel for overnight (Please note Taj Mahal is closed on Friday's).
Morning after breakfast, visit Agra Fort which lies across the river Jamuna. It was here that Aurangzeb the 3rd son of Shah Jahan kept his father under house arrest. Next visit Itmaudualla, mausoleum built by Queen Noor Jahan in memory of her parents followed by a tour of Sikandra, tomb of the Mughal Emperor, Akbar the Great before returning to your hotel. Afternoon depart by surface for Delhi and on arrival check into hotel. Balance time free for personal activities. Overnight in hotel.
Delhi. Morning after breakfast, proceed for half day guided city tour of Old Delhi. Explore the magnificent Red Fort, built at the zenith of the Mughal Empire in India. The centuries- old international market place that sprawls at its feet is still one of Delhi’s most important commercial hubs: Chandni Chowk, or “Moonlight Square” Ride on cycle-rickshaws (optional) through the bustling silver market and the wholesale spice market. The sounds, smells and colors of the bazaar, and the throngs of people who animate it make this an UN-forgettable spectacle. Visit Jumma Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia., before returning to hotel. Afternoon free to explore the exotic markets, boutiques and art galleries of Delhi. Vehicle with driver at disposal. Overnight stay in hotel.
Depart Delhi. In time transfer to Indira Gandhi International airport to connect flight for onward journey.
